She has lived in Cape May for 15 years , having purchased with her husband, Karsten, the Manse Bed and Breakfast from Anita's parents who established it in 1982. She was member of the Board of Cape Counseling Services in Cape May County for seven years. Before coming to Cape May Anita was an office manager and Vice-President for Burgdorff Realtors in New Jersey. At that time, Burgdorff was the third largest real estate company in New Jersey. Currently she is a member and secretary of the Executive Board of Cape May Historic Accomodations. Buying and selling one's home or property is a very serious event in people's lives and Anita feels privileged to continue to be a part of that journey with her clients.
